We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Excavator Operator to join our crew on a casual basis, with consistent full-time hours on offer.

About the Role

As an Excavator Operator at Wildtrax Earthworks, you’ll work across a variety of projects—from detailed residential earthworks to site cuts and demolition prep. You’ll be part of a professional team that values safety, site respect, and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavators ranging from 1.7T to 23T

Perform general earthworks, trenching, detailed excavation, and site prep

Assist with loading materials, backfilling, and general site clean-up

Carry out daily machine pre-starts and basic maintenance

Work alongside ground crew and site supervisors

Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe site

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience operating excavators

Excavator ticket (mandatory)

HC Truck Licence – highly regarded

White Card (Construction Induction)

Demolition experience – ideal but not essential

Reliable transport and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and in a team

Positive attitude and commitment to safety
