Zed Contracting is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Fulltime position with 38-hour basic weeks.

The Role

We are currently recruiting skilled formwork carpenters for a permanent, full–time position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and alignment to project specifications.

Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and plans to execute formwork tasks accurately.

Order materials per project requirements.

Assist in concrete pouring, ensuring that the formwork is properly set and aligned for an impeccable finish.

Inspect formwork structures to ensure they meet the project's quality standards and specifications.

Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and effectiveness.

Troubleshoot and solve any formwork-related issues that may arise during the construction process.

Minimum Requirements:

AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field

Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required)

Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)

Construction White Card

Desirable Skills:

Safety procedures knowledge

Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team

Valid Driving License and transport desirable

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
