This position requires the successful applicant to work in-office full time and work from home arrangements will not be available.

Role Purpose and Objectives
- To provide support and contribute to the efficient and effective functions of the Customer Experience Team.
- Encourage a proactive and progressive attitude and culture within the Customer Experience Team and support a commitment to continuous improvement.
- To work cooperatively with other team members to provide accurate, appropriate, timely and friendly advice and information relating to Council’s services, activities and facilities.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
- Support the Customer Experience Team to achieve the primary responsibilities and key functions of their roles by providing guidance and ensuring there is a culture of teamwork and cooperation between members of the team.
- Act as a point of referral for escalating complex customer service issues.
- Ensure an appropriate training program is implemented to develop existing and new team members.
- Foster development and continuous improvement within the team.
- Oversee efficient and accurate delivery of all cashiering functions including receipting and reconciliations and banking.
- Review and recommend to the Coordinator improvements to the Customer Request System and telephone system.
- Maintain a team roster to ensure adequate levels of coverage at all Customer Service Centres.

This role may be required to work at our Cobram office or our Yarrawonga office.
