Contract: 3-6 months- view to extend | Full-time (35 hours/week)
Rate: $73.50 per hour + Super

We’re recruiting for a Project Officer – Programs to join a dynamic team on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in supporting and leading the delivery of programs, managing stakeholders, coordinating contractors, and ensuring effective tracking and reporting of projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver projects from inception to completion, including contractor and supplier engagement
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and administrative tasks
• Lead or contribute to the design, evaluation, and impact assessment of programs
• Coordinate and facilitate project-specific stakeholder meetings—internal and external

Key Challenges

• Navigating diverse stakeholder groups
• Meeting tight and critical project timelines
• Working within structured government systems

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organisational skills and task ownership
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Confident managing project workflows and using the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in contractor and supplier engagement
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative team mindset and proactive work ethic

• Procurement or vendor management exposure
• Knowledge of the energy or social sciences sectors
