The Opportunity:
- Part-Time 0.8 EFT | Fixed-Term contract of employment until 31 October 2025.
- PW3 $60,416 - $65,237 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.
The Administrative Officer position at Holmesglen Institute exists to provide essential administrative and operational support for the coordination of clinical placements across Nursing and Allied Health programs. This role is a key point of contact for students, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring that placement processes run smoothly and meet compliance, safety, and academic standards. By managing placement documentation, liaising with industry partners, and maintaining accurate records, the position supports the delivery of high-quality, hands-on learning experiences that are integral to student success in health-related fields.
As an Administrative Officer, you will:
- Collect, verify and securely store placement documentation ensuring institutional and regulatory compliance.
- Primary contact for placement providers, coordinating logistics and sustaining productive partnerships.
- Deliver clear, timely student guidance on placement logistics, expectations and compliance obligations.
- Accurately maintain placement data in SONIA, InPlace and related student management systems.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure seamless, high-quality placement programs.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative settings, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using systems such as SONIA and InPlace is desirable.
- Skilled in managing placement processes with accuracy, discretion, and sound administrative judgement.
- Confident in engaging stakeholders and building collaborative, professional working relationships.
- Committed to student-focused service delivery, providing timely support and clear communication.
- Hold a relevant diploma or degree, with a flexible, accountable, and inclusive approach to teamwork.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
