As the Payroll Manager, you will become an integral member of a high-performing Finance division. This role offers exceptional scope for strategic contribution and career advancement within an organisation that values expertise, innovation, and leadership excellence. Reporting to the Head of Payroll your responsibilities include:

• Drive strategic payroll leadership across complex multi-unit operations, ensuring seamless execution for all workforce segments.

• Expert interpretation and implementation of Modern Awards, enterprise agreements, and regulatory frameworks in dynamic operational environments.

• Execute comprehensive analysis and validation of statutory obligations including PAYG withholding, payroll tax compliance, superannuation governance, and regulatory reporting requirements

• Partner strategically with senior stakeholders to deliver sophisticated labour cost analytics, trend analysis, and predictive insights that drive informed business decision-making

• Champion transformational improvements in payroll technology platforms and operational frameworks, positioning the organisation at the forefront of industry best practices

• Oversee vendor relationships and service delivery standards for external payroll processing partners, ensuring optimal performance and risk mitigation

• Provide executive-level support and mentorship to Finance team members, fostering capability development and succession planning initiatives

• Lead high-impact projects and strategic initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes that enhance organisational effectiveness and competitive advantage

To be considered in this role you will bring 9-10 years of proven success in Senior payroll management roles within comparable B2B services organisations, demonstrating both technical mastery and strategic thinking capabilities. You will exhibit exceptional analytical acumen, advanced systems proficiency, and demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with C-suite executives and senior management teams across diverse business functions.
