As a Clinical Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to manage, coordinate, and deliver competent nursing care, utilising your leadership and advanced nursing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with national competence for Registered Nurses as per the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Act as a clinical expert and provide professional advice in conjunction with the nursing manager, ensuring high clinical standards are met.
- Coordinate operational management of the unit, especially during after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Participate in improvement and research programmes to enhance the hospital’s healthcare services. Facilitate patient education needs and implement appropriate teaching programmes.
- Oversee unit-based education and training, fulfilling designated quality improvement indicators.
