This is for a Permanent Full-Time appointment.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Perioperative Services team at Carnarvon Hospital.
To be successful, you will have...
- Advanced clinical practice in Perioperative Nursing plus post registration qualification in Perioperative Nursing or extensive experience at a senior level in Perioperative Nursing.
- Effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and ability to work within a collegiate team environment.
- Evidence of participation in and commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles.
- Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence or other specialised licence class.
Position Profile: Undertakes the clinical and daily management of the delivery of quality services, through the efficient and effective utilisation of human, physical, material and fiscal resources within the specialised area of Operating Theatre, CSSD and the Outpatient Departments at Carnarvon Hospital. Areas of accountability will include the provision of leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, implementation of policies and change management.
Applicants should be aware that this position may involve rotational duties in Geraldton.
