What You'll Bring to the Team

Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years supporting technical environments with a MSP.

Client Experience: Strong skills in ensuring positive client experiences and building customer relationships.

Proactive Initiative: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly and effectively.

About the role

As a valuable member of our Systems Engineering team, you’ll support a regular client base and work closely with our Service Desk, Projects, and Infrastructure teams. Expect variety, autonomy, and great support. You will be required to support our local clients so you must be located in Brisbane.

You will:

• Manage and resolve client incidents and requests from a Level 3 queue.
• Provide escalation support for the Service Desk team.
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure systems for regular clients.
• Offer advice on appropriate solutions to clients.
• Provide remote and onsite IT support as a senior point of escalation.

Our Systems Engineers are integral to delivering great service so you must be comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and motivated to stay current with emerging technologies.

Experience you bring:

• Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune
• Advanced Windows Server administration
• Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
• VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
• Backup and disaster recovery technologies
• RMM tools and security products

Bonus points for experience with:

• UniFi network and Palo Alto firewalls management
• Veeam Backup and Recovery
• PowerShell scripting for support and automation
• Security products and vulnerability management
