About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and licensed Security Technician with an A Grade Electrical Licence to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning electronic security systems including CCTV and access control, while also performing electrical work in accordance with Victorian regulations, including lightning protection installations.

Key Responsibilities

Install and service electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)

Perform electrical installation and maintenance work under A Grade licence

Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation

Ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards and Energy Safe Victoria regulations

Liaise with clients, project managers, and site supervisors

Maintain accurate job records and documentation

Requirements

Current A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)

Security Installer Licence (or eligibility to obtain)

Valid White Card and Australian Driver’s Licence

Police and Working With Children Checks

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication both written and verbal and time management skills
