NSW is going to home to some of Australia's most ambitious energy projects, including the construction REZ projects - rolling out 500kv Transmission lines and substations.

We have an opportunity for a Lead Estimator to join a global tier 1 contractor - a key strategic hire that will have a real impact on the growth of the companies activities in the energy & power sector in the coming years.

This contractor has delivered some of the most complex projects and can offer you the chance to work on the bidding of a number of key projects in Australia's Energy transition.

Looking for a leader who can establish the estimating systems & process on major projects, as well as wants to grow and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities of Lead Estimator :

• Lead the end-to-end estimating process on major bids ($500M+) for energy projects.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams during tender development
• Analyse risks, program impacts, and pricing strategies
• Build and mentor a growing estimating function.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure market-aligned pricing

What you can bring

• 10+ years’ estimating experience within large electrical infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in winning $200m+ energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience with 330kv, 500kv projects is highly regarded.
• Experience using Candy would be preferred
• Desire to shape and influence a new market presence
