This role involves:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, plans, and diagrams for domestic residential installations.

• Assist engineers in the design, layout, and modification of electrical systems, including substations, switchgear, and motor control systems

• Research, identify, and recommend new engineering technologies to improve operational efficiency and meet evolving project requirements.

• Modify existing engineering technologies and workflows to enhance productivity and compliance with industry standards.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to support engineering activities and generate insights for design optimization.

• Perform complex calculations, graphing, and preparation of technical reports, charts, and tabulations.

• Estimate material costs and quantities for projects, ensuring alignment with budget and client requirements.

• Conduct on-site inspections to verify that electrical installations and systems comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.

• Assemble, install, test, calibrate, and repair electrical equipment and installations, ensuring reliability and adherence to Australian standards.

• Undertake experiments, testing, and research to evaluate performance and reliability of new and existing electrical technologies.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other professionals to develop innovative engineering solutions for clients’ residential construction projects.

• Liaise with distributors and regulatory authorities to manage applications for power design and underground supply connections.

• Support the implementation of continuous improvements to processes, designs, and customer service to maintain high levels of operational productivity
