Customer Relations Consultant located in the South (Hughes/ Queanbeyan/ Goulburn)- with travel to all Warrigal locations.
Most of us want to know we’re doing work that matters. But a lot of us struggle to build careers that allow for it, so we end up working long hours in demanding roles.
At Warrigal, you’ll get to swap the hustle for a career with purpose. One that makes a positive difference to the lives of older people and their families.
For us, there’s no greater honour. When we bring joy and quality of life to older people, we give them the dignity, community, and belonging they deserve. We allow them to enjoy better quality time and build lasting memories with their families, and we create a society that celebrates and respects aging.
No matter your role at Warrigal, each one of us is contributing to this legacy, ensuring it’s passed down from generation to generation.
The opportunity
As part of Warrigal’s Customer Relations team, you’ll be the first point of contact for people exploring aged care and retirement living options. You'll guide them through the process, offering support, advice, and a friendly face along the way.
This sales-focused role is all about building relationships—whether it’s with potential residents, their families, or key referrers like hospital discharge planners and community groups. You’ll conduct tours, provide financial guidance, and help ensure a smooth transition into Warrigal’s services. Based in the Queanbeyan/Canberra area, this role offers variety, purpose, and the opportunity to be part of a passionate team. Regular travel to other Warrigal sites and some work outside standard hours will be required, but the reward is knowing you’re helping people find a place to call home.
Your work directly supports Warrigal’s vision of a world where older people feel Known, Loved, and Connected.

What our people love about working here:
A supportive, passionate culture: It’s a community filled with inspiring, big-hearted people. We back each other, listen without judgement and lead with kindness, respect and unwavering support - for our customers, residents and each other. This is encouraged from the top down and worked hard at – every day.
Leaders who value you: It’s important you feel valued. To us, this is not a one-off task. But a commitment to creating an environment where you feel seen, heard and valued – every day. Leaders and managers go out of their way to understand you, respect your opinions and hear what you have to say. This creates greater unity and collaboration with each other.
Time for a life that matters: We want you to feel part of our community, to have a place to belong, while respecting your life outside work. You’ll have the flexibility to fit work around your needs, take career breaks and purchase extra leave to make time for the people, places and life that matters to you.
One team, united in our purpose: We support older people to have great lives. We put older people first in everything we do. On an everyday level, we help them age with dignity, independence, happiness and connectedness. On a big picture level, we’re challenging ageist thinking in Australia. This is the Warrigal Way.
Who we are | A community who cares
Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. We’re proud of the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, but we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that’s what you want.
Do work that matters to you
This is your chance to do work that matters, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of Australia’s older community – now and in the future.
JOIN US AND BE THE DIFFERENCE
We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people, workers of all abilities, ages and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply and join our community.
Are you keen? Then don’t delay applying. We review applications as we get them and will close the vacancy once we find the right person.
