Hill McGlynn is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national business with a major footprint in fuel retail and convenience logistics. We’re seeking a commercially astute, operationally minded Executive General Manager to lead national logistics operations, drive end-to-end performance, and bring innovation to a fast-moving, highly visible sector.

The Opportunity

Lead all national logistics and operations across a large-scale petrol and convenience retail network.

Full P&L accountability, across safety, compliance, transport operations, people, and partner networks.

Oversee major third-party logistics relationships and delivery performance across multiple states.

Drive fleet optimisation, delivery standards, and customer-facing supply chain outcomes.

Lead a high-performing national team and sit as a key executive within the business.

We’re Looking For

Executive-level leadership experience in transport, FMCG, 3PL, last-mile or fuel logistics.

Strong commercial, operational and strategic leadership—ideally across a multi-site or franchise-style model.

Proven experience with compliance-heavy, high-volume environments (fuel, cold chain, convenience etc.).

A grounded, action-oriented leader who thrives on accountability, speed, and scale.

Strong stakeholder influence—internally and with major suppliers and logistics partners.
