We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to support our clients in SIL’s and other NDIS facilities services across Brisbane Southwest suburbs which include Booval, Raceview, Brassall and Wacol.

What we can offer you:

• Pay rates starting from $$43.23 ($44.59 starting pay rate if you have a relevant Cert IV) + penalties + loadings.
• 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%).

Overview of the role:

• 24-hour care model, meaning combination of shifts are available – morning, afternoon, weekends, and sleepovers.
• Implement positive behaviour support plans, to support our clients with complex behaviours.
• Assist participants with the range of self-care activities.
• Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
• Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
• Use a company vehicle and your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.

What you need:

• Completed, or currently enrolled, in an industry relevant Certificate III qualification or higher.
• Minimum of three (3) months, paid employment experience in a Support Worker, Care Worker or Nursing role.
• Experience working around complex behaviours, implementing Positive Behavioural support plans.
• Due to specific client support requirements and requests, male support workers are preferred
