About the role

We’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, qualified Disability Support Workers to provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. Our services run 7 days a week providing you with flexibility and work life balance.

In this role you will have the ability to support participants by encouraging and maintaining their independence at our Coomera Villas.

Key accountabilities :

Perform personal care, domestic duties, assistance with meals and medication

Provide In home, centre based and overnight respite

Enable social and community participation

Assist in implementing client-specific programs to encourage independence whenever possible

Promote individuals physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual well-being.

About you

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.

Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and manage your work effectively

Possess a valid Driver’s licence, vehicle and comprehensive insurance

Availability to work across different shifts including weekends, evenings and overnight shifts as required

Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Card

Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
