We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join the kitchen team at Macedon Ranges’ most prestigious conference and wedding venue, Glen Erin at Lancefield. Family owned and operated since 1993 and offering the longest established a la carte restaurant in the Macedon Ranges.

WHAT YOU WILL POSSESS:

Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery

Ability to lead a dedicated kitchen team

Demonstrated experience in a premium restaurant and function venue/s

Creative and passionate approach to the provision of high-quality cuisine

Full knowledge of Australian food safety and HACCP

Availability to work weekends as required within a rotating roster

Well presented, reliable and punctual

Live within one hour’s drive of Lancefield, VIC.

Established, a la carte Restaurant (since 1993) and venue to high end Conferences and functions and one of the most acclaimed Wedding Venues in Regional Victoria.

Offering 30 luxury suites, the property includes an original country Homestead built circa 1860 and perfect for wedding parties. Our function room boasts the largest capacity in the region and opens to stunning views across the vines.

Restaurant @ Glen Erin has been providing fine, restaurant cuisine to locals and guests from distant parts since 1993.

Glen Erin closes from Christmas Eve until the first week in January and is generally closed for public holidays.

Mid- week service is almost exclusively Conference based catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Restaurant is open for dining Friday to Sunday (lunch) and the Vineyard Function room plays host to wedding celebrations on weekends mainly during Spring and Summer.
