As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be able to provide, plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to our regional Wagga Wagga communities. About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in this exciting role to provide a range of high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative physiotherapy services.

This opportunity exists within Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts new chronic pain service. The multidisciplinary team includes staff across medical, nursing, administration, physiotherapy and clinical psychology who will work together to provide high quality evidence-based care of our patients. The clinic is new to MLHD and the successful candidate will therefore be helping to pave the way of chronic pain management for the district. The physiotherapist will be based at Wagga Wagg Base Hospital with your working days being Thursday and Friday.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy & current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience within the required specialty area, with an emphasis on evidence based practice.
  • Demonstrate well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
  • Hold excellent communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy, and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
