Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Implementation Consultant for a 6-month contract to support the successful rollout of our loan management and investor systems and business processes across our financial services organisation. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time, and compliant implementation of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Delivery
· Lead the end-to-end implementation of systems, applications, or business solutions.
· Conduct configuration, data migration, UAT support, and go-live planning.
· Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendor teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Gather, document, and validate business requirements with key stakeholders.
· Translate business needs into functional specifications and implementation plans.
· Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions with end users.
Project & Risk Management
· Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting under the direction of the Project Manager
· Identify implementation risks and propose mitigating strategies.
· Track post-implementation issues and support resolution within the contract period.
Documentation & Process Improvement
· Produce user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implementation documentation.
· Recommend process enhancements based on system capabilities and business needs.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience as an Implementation Consultant, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst
· Demonstrated experience in system implementations within the financial services sector.
· Strong understanding of data integrity, testing cycles, and change management.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
· Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams under tight timelines.
· Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and financial platforms
Desirable Qualifications
· Degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field
· Experience with financial platforms
· Familiarity with APRA, ASIC, AML/CTF, or other financial regulatory requirements
· Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery experience
