About the Job

We’re currently looking for a motivated individual with experience—or a strong interest—in operating computerised machinery to join our advanced machine shop.

This is a full-time, secure position within a growing and forward-thinking company. You'll be working in a modern production environment where training and support are provided to help you succeed.

While this role is currently for the day shift, additional shift opportunities may be available upon request.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Operating some of the industry's most advanced CNC equipment, including

Okuma, Mazak, CNC Lathes, Machining Centres, and Gleason Gear Shapers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor high-tech CNC machinery to meet quality and production standards

· Read and interpret technical drawings, or demonstrate a willingness to learn

· Follow established procedures while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

· Work collaboratively as part of a proactive and motivated team

· Meet production targets and deadlines

· Ensure machines are operated safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications

About You:

· Experience with CNC machinery or a background in a workshop environment (training provided for the right candidate)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

· Take pride in your appearance and maintain a clean and tidy work environment

· Present yourself in a professional, approachable, and team-focused manner

PTE Hydraulics Pty Ltd Group, is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and rotary actuators, based in Acacia Ridge on Brisbane’s southside.

We operate an advanced manufacturing facility equipped with over 30 high-tech CNC lathes and machining centres. Our equipment includes multifunction CNC lathes, fully flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), robot welders, and a electronically guided Gleason CNC gear shaper.

The Role

This full-time position is based at our factory in Acacia Ridge. We offer stable employment, excellent working conditions, and competitive, above-award wages. The successful applicant can expect to earn a strong, reliable income

Standard Working Hours:

· Day Shift (currently available):

o Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

o Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:20 PM

· Afternoon Shift (available on request):
