Main Duties and Responsibilities

Operate a New LVD 7 Axis CNC Press brake

1. Read and interpret 3D mechanical / Assembly drawings.

2. Accurately fold simple and complex parts to tolerance

3. Pack completed parts ready for despatch

4. General Sheet Metal work as required

5. Maintain a neat, tidy, and safe working area

Operate a state of the art 10KW Bystronic Fiber Laser Cutter:

1. Set-up and maintaining a quality cut

2. Unloading, Quantity / Quality Checking of cut parts

3. Packing / Stacking Cut Parts

4. Maintain a neat, tidy, and safe working area

5. Complete scheduled cleaning/maintenance of laser

Operate powered non CNC plate rolls

Welding (TIG/MIG) - Preferable

It would be an advantage if you can also demonstrate the following desirable skills & attributes:

Previous experience in the engineering or metal industry

Previous drafting or digital drawing experience

Experience using Sigmanest, Bysoft, Solidworks, Fusion 360, Auto CAD and CADMAN or similar software
