About us:
Quantum Information Technology (QuantumIT) is a globally established IT consulting and software enterprise, offering specialised cloud-based software applications across various sectors. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Australia, we have a strong global presence with customers in ten countries and subsidiaries in the UK, US, Canada, Singapore, and the Middle East.
Our suite of cloud-based software includes:
· InPlace: A robust solution used by universities and tertiary educators worldwide to manage cooperative and work-integrated learning programs including clinical placements, teaching practicums, internships, and industry projects.
· InPlace Network: A pioneering platform for employers to coordinate student work experience and graduate recruitment programs. Clients include the UK NHS and major hospital networks in Australia and the US.
· InPlace Corrections: A comprehensive rehabilitation management platform for the prison sector, streamlining education, rehabilitation, and reintegration programs.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Deployment Consultant to support the expansion of InPlace Network. This is a high-impact role requiring hands-on client deployment leadership, strong client engagement, product knowledge and the ability to manage software deployments from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Leading full-cycle deployments of InPlace Network, from scoping to training and go-live, across multiple sectors and regions
Facilitating structured workshops with clients to gather requirements, map current and future-state processes, and translate into actionable deployment plans
Acting as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and product to ensure alignment of expectations, scope, and deliverables
Follow an existing structured client deployment process, using the tools and the workflows that are used across the business
Build your knowledge on the software to a detailed level to be able to independently guide, configure and train the client on their adoption of the solution
Project manage your deployment projects using our management tools, including risk identification and management.
Mentoring and supporting junior BAs and deployment analysts; championing best practice in documentation, delivery, and stakeholder engagement
Coordinating closely with the support team to ensure seamless transition from go-live to business-as-usual operations
Providing feedback and insights to improve internal deployment methodology, product configuration, and client onboarding processes
What you’ll need to succeed:
Proven ability to independently run client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into successful deployment outcomes
Keen to learn the product and be ‘the most knowledgeable person in the room’ on our software solutions
Strong organisational and documentation skills, able to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders including senior decision-makers
Confident using project management tools, documentation platforms, and product delivery frameworks (Agile or hybrid)
Experience working with customers in education, healthcare, or public sector is beneficial
Proven experience of 5 plus years as an implementation manager, software deployment consultant and/or Business Analyst or similar role in technology companies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing complex deployment projects successfully
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and guiding teams through challenging project phases
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
What's in it for you?
Key role in a small but highly impactful team with strong exposure to product, client, and leadership teams
Work with a global customer base across education, health and government
Flexible hybrid work model (2 days in Carlton office, 3 days WFH)
Ongoing professional development and on-the-job learning
A flat structure with autonomy, accountability, and real influence on how deployments are run
