About the role
IRIS MANOR Aged Care is seeking a passionate and energetic Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a diverse range of activities and programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This is a casual position based in our facility in ASHBURTON, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

Assess the individual needs, interests and preferences of our residents to develop tailored lifestyle programs

Plan, organise and facilitate a variety of engaging activities, events and outings to promote physical, social and emotional wellbeing

Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure a holistic, resident-individual approach

Maintain detailed records and provide regular feedback on resident participation and outcomes

Liaise with families, volunteers and the local community to enhance the lifestyle program

Ensure a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all residents

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Lifestyle Coordination, Diversional Therapy or a related field

Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering and evaluating lifestyle programs in an aged care setting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Creativity, empathy and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for older adults

A current police check and working with children check

Updated flu vaccination, police check, references from previous employees

Current CPR and First Aid
