Radiation Professionals Australia (RPA) provide expert radiation advice to the mining, exploration, petroleum, industrial and regulatory sectors in general with special focus on the decommissioning, testing, consulting and monitoring of NORM and dangerous goods.

Immediate Start:
This is a FIFO role with a rotation of 4:2. Working in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Predominately working from our Onslow decommissioning yard, with regular assignments at our Karratha yard.

The ideal candidate will have experience in UHP (Ultra High Pressure) Water blasting utilising either WOMA, Hammelman or DenJet systems. The position is full time employment.

What you'll be doing:

Operate and maintain ultra-high pressure water blasting equipment to blast a variety of pipes and structures.

Ensure equipment is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance as required.

Strong understanding of health and safety practices in industrial environments.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others on the job site.

Various other tasks required to perform job specifics.

Writing of reports as required.

What we're looking for:

At least 3-5 years' experience operating ultra-high pressure water blasting equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment such as HPU.

Excellent safety awareness and the ability to follow protocols

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers

Current Australian driver's licence

High Pressure Water Blasting Operator Ticket

Please note that this is a labour-intensive role. This position requires someone who is physically fit and willing to work hard in our tropical environment.
