About the role
Join our dedicated IT team as an IT Support Analyst at Specialised Assistance School for Youth in Adelaide, South Australia. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's technology infrastructure, providing expert technical support and troubleshooting to our staff and students.
What you'll be doing
Respond to and resolve IT-related queries and incidents from staff and students in a timely and efficient manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implementing appropriate solutions
Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of our school's technology systems
Collaborate with the IT team to maintain and update our technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
Assist with the procurement and configuration of new IT equipment and software
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to IT support activities
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally in an education environment, but this is not essential.
Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff and students
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative IT team
Familiarity with common IT systems, software, and networking technologies
Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and a commitment to continuous learning
