Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
Lead day-to-day operations across multiple medical centres, including strategic staffing, scheduling optimization, and workflow management
Recruit, train, and mentor administrative teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to enhance patient care delivery and satisfaction
Financial & Administrative Management
Oversee comprehensive administrative functions including billing, invoicing, and inventory control
Demonstrate expert knowledge of MBS billing structures and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and monitor budgets, financial reports, and key performance metrics to achieve operational targets
Maintain medical centre accreditation standards and manage accreditation processes
Patient Experience & Compliance
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy
Implement and maintain robust office policies and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices
Safeguard electronic health records (EHR) while maintaining strict confidentiality and security protocols
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
Strategic Initiatives
Lead medical recruitment efforts, with particular expertise in IMG (International Medical Graduate) recruitment highly valued
Effectively manage and coordinate with remote teams
Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs
What You'll Bring
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Practice Manager in a General Practice setting
Best Practice Software proficiency and expertise
Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, billing practices, and healthcare regulations
Strong leadership capabilities with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced proficiency in office software applications and EHR systems
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in fast-paced environments
Meticulous attention to detail with unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy
Flexibility to adapt to evolving healthcare needs and changing priorities
Well-developed computer literacy and IT skills
Highly Regarded
Experience in CDM management
Experience in medical recruitment, particularly IMG recruitment
Previous experience managing multiple practice locations
