A pivotal role to help launch and maintain Lime's e-bikes and e-scooters in Hobart!

Your role will then be to develop and lead a supportive team to ensure that all Lime e-bikes and e-scooters are operational and safety-standard, ready for deployment, and ready for the public to use for transportation. You will be provided with detailed training and instruction on repairing the model of bikes and scooters used at Lime. Most of the work is mechanical in nature, and there is a small amount of computer and software update work. Occasionally, you may need to help support tasks in the field - driving a van to locations for vehicle retrieval.

Starting in August, for the first few weeks you'll be helping set up, test and deploy e-bikes and e-scooters, in addition to getting the new warehouse procedures flowing. During this time, you'll be building the team, identifying which of the warehouse tasks best suit their skills and aptitude.

What you will bring to the role:

Team leadership in a supportive but results-driven environment

Warehouse and process design and implementation

Prior experience with e-Bike or Bicycle servicing and maintenance preferred

Demonstrated ability to use standard hand and power tools to solve problems

Intermediate computer skills (inventory management software, documents, web browser, emails etc.)

Comfortable with using smartphones/apps - text messaging

Shift schedule:

Morning: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Pay rate is :

$34.18 per hour - as per the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020 [MA000089] - Level 5.
