About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk/Law Graduate to join our dynamic team at Banditt & Blaine Lawyers' in Ipswich, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers invaluable experience and mentorship within a leading law firm.

What you'll be doing

Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents, briefs, and other documents to support the work of our lawyers

Assisting with the preparation and filing of court documents, such as pleadings, motions, and affidavits

Participating in client meetings and attend court appearances

Maintaining accurate and organised client files and records

Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed

What we're looking for

Completion of a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree, or currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of your law degree

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Familiarity with legal procedures and court etiquette

Proficiency in using legal research databases and software
