One Forecast Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced full time ICT Business Analyst to be based in our Brisbane office.

One Forecast is an Australian reseller of the SYSPRO ERP platform and its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) module. One Forecast sells and implements software for medium to large Supply Chain and Manufacturing companies in Australia.

The role will focus on the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) as well as supporting existing customers who utilise MES. The incumbent will work closely with Project Managers and customers to understand and document user requirements and technical specifications for the configuration and customisation of their MES software. The position will complete detailed technical designs and perform configurations and testing/debugging of the configurations and customisations. This will require detailed knowledge of MES platforms and the functions these platforms perform including Production Scheduling, Quality Management, and Inventory Control and Real Time Shopfloor Data Collection and Reporting.

The ICT Business Analyst will participate in the iterative testing and review process of these configuration and customisations together with the Project Managers, Business Analysts and Test Analysts in One Forecast’s Customer Project teams.

The position carries with it a salary of $110,000 plus super.

Responsibilities

Facilitating customer discovery sessions

Formulating and documenting business requirements

Reviewing business processes and procedures

Identifying and recommending optimal business practices and system functionality

Functional system designs and specifications including customisations to meet business customer requirements

Identifying and specifying interfaces with 3rd party software

Configuration of the MES software

Testing of standard software and customisations

Deployment and configuration management

Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation

Support, maintain and document software functionality

User training and handover of MES System

Project planning and Project management

Key member of the One Forecast team assisting in overall system designs and architecture

Skills or Experience Required

· A relevant bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years relevant experience

· 3+ years in MES System implementations and support

· Detailed knowledge of MES modules including Production Scheduling, Quality Management, Inventory Control, BOMs and Routings, and other relevant modules
