You will lead the well-being and performance of a positive and collaborative team assessing subdivision proposals, subdivision works and roads act applications, and provide referral advice to DA assessment officers, and act as expert witness on behalf of Council, by providing input into policy review and strategic service planning and champion excellence in customer service.

You will have:

· Degree in Engineering (Civil) with local government experience preferred,

· Demonstrated high level attention to detail, strong written verbal and written communication skills.

· Class C driver’s licence and White Card

· A commitment to continuous improvement, ability to mentor and promote the professional development of staff

· High level conflict resolution skills and willingness to collaborate across the organisation and with external agencies

· Extensive experience design, assessment and delivery infrastructure, including assessment NORBE modelling, and WSUD.

· Experience representing Council in NSW Land and Environment Court

· Knowledge of NSW EP&A, LG and POEO Acts.

A motor vehicle is available with this position.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $125,811 gross per annum

+ 12% superannuation

+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary

+ annual award increase
