DTEC Workforce is seeking a highly motivated and qualified RTIO accredited Safety Officer for future and potentially ongoing project work.
What’s required:
Drive safety on the ground: lead and verify the daily site safety requirements for a small rail civil team
Develop and implement health and safety strategies tailored to Rail Maintenance operations
Create, review, and update Safety Management Plans, SWMS, procedures, and policies
Maintain effective document control and compliance with respect to HSEQ
Lead incident investigations and risk assessments, providing actionable recommendations
Support site teams with safety inspections, audits, and training.
Ability to engage positively with both site-based and management teams for internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience in a safety-related role, ideally within Rail Maintenance in WA
