About the Position
the International Student Transition Projects Officer is a two-year fixed term position and will be responsible for supporting the development and embedding of a range of resources and educative initiatives to enhance the support and advice provided to international students as they transition and settle into university.
About the Person
We’re looking for a culturally aware and student-focused professional who understands the unique challenges faced by international students in higher education. You’ll bring empathy, expertise, and a collaborative spirit to support student success and compliance with visa regulations.
Key attributes include:
A relevant tertiary qualification and 2+ years’ experience working with diverse communities.
Strong knowledge of international student transition and retention issues in higher education in Australia.
Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
A commitment to delivering responsive, student-centred support.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments that help international students thrive.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $101,752.85 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
