Our client is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for a range of residential housing projects. This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for single and multi-dwelling residential projects.
• Conduct material and quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and verify pricing.
• Maintain and update internal estimating databases and templates.
• Work closely with design, drafting, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Identify cost efficiencies and value engineering opportunities.
• Track variations and provide cost analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal processes.

The right candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years volume homes estimating experience with a residential new home builder
• Custom home experience preferred
• Positive can-do attitude that is willing to work in as part of a tight team
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Sales or Production estimating using Databuild
• Ability to problem solve and have an involved approach as the team's Estimator
