About the role:

With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based throughout Alice springs and regional areas. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing, initiating, and managing the project, employees, contractors, ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires extensive experience in all facets of construction.

This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Alice Springs Northern Territory, and some working in remote communities.

Responsibilities:

Leading and managing internal and external contractors

Preparing RFI, Notices of Delay, variations and EOT submissions

Providing weekly reports to Clients and senior management

Ensuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality and business processes.

ensuring OH&S is adhered to onsite

Reading, interpreting and communicating plans effectively to stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the project

Building positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders such as customers, project team, management, suppliers and subcontractors

Managing cost control, reporting, procurement and contract management

About you:

To be successful in the role, you will need:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a high-level project management working on projects from $500K-$15M

Excellent time management and people management skills

High attention to detail and safety-focused approach to work

Experience managing construction scheduling

Construction trade qualified, certificate

Problem-solving and innovation skills as an individual and as a team player

Construction White Card and Current driver’s license

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standards

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications

Ability to obtain a PF166 clearance

Senior first aid training

Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment

Experience using Prime or similar related Project Management & ERP programs (Desirable).

Ability to travel remotely within Northern Territory to our regional construction sites.
