Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Manager / Precontracts legend to to spearhead our operations growth within the Northern Territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in winning and managing civil construction projects from inception to completion in the Northern Territory market.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Coordinate and supervise on-site activities and subcontractors.
Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Prepare and submit project progress reports and documentation.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Valid driver's license.
