We serve clients across a wide range of industries, offering comprehensive services including accounting and tax, business consulting and advisory. Due to the rapid growth of our practice, we now have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a senior accountant with at least 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The full-time role will predominantly involve a variety of tasks, including:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, businesses and self-managed superfunds.

Liaising with ATO and other regulatory bodies as required.

Assisting clients with tax and business advisory services.

Regularly engaging with clients to maintain strong relationships.

Examining financial records for accuracy

Supporting our teams in resolving tax queries, including conducting research and applying relevant legislation and tax rulings.

· Performing additional duties as required.

About you.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business-related disciplines.

· Completed CA or CPA accreditation

· Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in CA/CPA firms with significant taxation responsibilities.

· Broad knowledge of taxation law and statutory regulations.

· Excellent communication and written skills.

· Computer literacy skills especially in Microsoft Excel

· Experience in the use of Xero, Xero tax and Class Super is essential
