About the role

Just Better Care Hume and Southern Riverina is seeking a committed and caring Community Support Workers to join our team in Myrtleford, VIC. This is a casual position that will involve providing personalised in-home care and support to elderly and disabled clients in the local community. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and social support

Promoting client independence and encouraging participation in community activities

Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals

Maintaining detailed client records and reporting any changes in client condition

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field (required)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (required)

Experience providing in-home care and support to elderly or disabled individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships

Compassionate and patient approach with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life

Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the local area

Current first aid certificate and CPR certificate
