Our client, a respected commercial construction company in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs, is poised for significant growth. They have a fantastic team of fifteen dedicated professionals and a genuinely great culture. They've recently welcomed a General Manager to streamline broader operations.

This strategic move creates a dedicated space for a hands-on Construction Manager to focus solely on driving successful project delivery and contributing to the pursuit of new, larger opportunities.

This isn't just about managing tasks, it's about being the force that ensures every project is delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality. You'll be the expert guiding multiple builds simultaneously, from initial planning and tendering right through to successful handover.

You'll provide strong operational leadership, becoming the go-to person for their Project Teams and onsite staff, mentoring them and optimising resource allocation. Your expertise will be critical in shaping their approach to larger or mid-tier construction projects.

This role is for you if you're ready to:

• Lead Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of diverse commercial projects, ensuring seamless coordination between Project Managers, site teams, consultants, and clients.
• Drive Financial Success: Develop and manage project budgets, oversee tender submissions, and monitor cost controls to ensure profitability and consistent financial performance.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain the highest quality standards and foster an unyielding safety culture across all sites, ensuring compliance and other regulations.
• Build Strong Relationships: Foster collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth project delivery and paving the way for repeat business.
• Mentor & Develop Teams: Provide direct leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and site teams, delegating effectively and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

We're looking for an experienced professional with a background in Construction Management and Project Management in commercial construction. Your strong knowledge of building codes, contract administration, scheduling, and risk management will be essential.
