We're looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a close-knit finance team supporting the operations of a manufacturing business based in the Lake Macquarie area of NSW.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is perfect for someone who's highly organised, thrives under pressure, and is ready to take ownership of both accounts payable and receivable, also aiding in month end procedures and deadlines. You'll be a key player in a small, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end Accounts Receivable & Payable

Liaising with suppliers, customers and our internal team.

Support with general ledger reconciliations, journals, inter-company transactions, and back up payroll support.

Help implement new systems and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an Accounts Officer or similar finance support role.

A collaborative, team-first attitude - you're proactive, communicative, and keen to help.

Strong working knowledge of ERPs – PRONTO would be a bonus!

Excellent verbal communication skills - English language fluency is essential.

Excellent Excel skills and a detail-focused, analytical mindset.

Experience in high-volume processing role.

Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential financial and payroll related data.
