Are you an experienced Electrician Fire Technician with a strong background in dry fire system installation and fire panel programming? We're looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety-focused technician to join our Clients growing team!

About the Role:

As a Fire Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of dry fire systems including smoke detectors, alarm systems, and emergency lighting. A key part of this role involves programming and troubleshooting fire indicator panels across commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission dry fire systems according to Australian standards.
  
• Program and configure fire alarm control panels from major brands (e.g., Notifier, Ampac, Tyco, etc.).
  
• Perform regular maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
  
• Read and interpret electrical and system drawings.
  
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
  
• Liaise with clients, builders, and site supervisors as required.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified/licensed electrician.
  
• Minimum 3 years' experience with fire detection systems.
  
• Proven experience programming fire panels (essential).
  
• Strong understanding of AS 1670 and AS 1851 (or local codes).
  
• White Card and relevant industry accreditations.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  
• Driver's license and reliable transport.
  

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working with BMS or integration systems.
  
• Fire Safety Certification or FPAS accreditation (or regional equivalent).
