About the role

Coffs Harbour Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician, Dual Trade Electrician or Electrician to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This is a full-time position that will involve installing, servicing and repairing a range of commercial and residential air conditioning, refrigeration systems & commercial catering equipment.

What you'll be doing

Performing installations, maintenance and repairs on a variety of air conditioning, refrigeration systems & commercial catering equipment.

Diagnosing faults and providing solutions to address issues with air conditioning, refrigeration systems & commercial catering equipment.

Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment

Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard, in compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices

Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work completed

What we're looking for

Formal Australian qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

Minimum 12 months post apprenticeship experience as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technician or Dual Trade Electrician.

If no formal Australian qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration we're also open to a qualified Electrician looking to complete a dual trade through a trade based apprenticeship.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including installation, servicing and repair.

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

Good communication and customer service skills.

A current open Australian driver's licence.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Current ARC Refrigerant Handling License

Must have Australian work rights or citizenship

Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
