About the Role
This role is responsible for driving client acquisition and business growth for NIDA Corporate Training. Key duties include developing and executing acquisition strategies with the Head of Corporate Training, identifying and engaging high-potential organisations, and representing NIDA at industry events. The role involves leading client meetings, collaborating on tailored proposals, securing training contracts, and maintaining long-term client relationships. Additional responsibilities include reporting, market analysis, supporting marketing and event efforts, and ensuring compliance with WHS regulations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience in business, arts management, education, or a related field. They should demonstrate a strong track record in business development, sales conversion, and meeting targets within service-based organisations. Key skills include excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and proposal development. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and data reporting is essential.

This is a Full time 2-year contract but open to part-time/flexible working.
The base annual salary is $120,000 + 12% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.

What we deliver
For those wanting to start a career in the creative arts, we offer full-time fully-accredited bachelor degrees in Acting, Costume, Design for Performance, Properties and Objects (props), Staging, and Technical Theatre and Stage Management, masters degrees in Cultural Leadership, Directing and Writing for Performance and diploma courses in Musical Theatre, Live Production and Technical Services and Specialist Make-up Services.
We also make our training available to the public with term classes, short courses, school-holiday programs, evening and weekend classes. Our NIDA Open programs are designed for children, young people and adults and we also run Corporate workshops for business professionals.
