ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a team of skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners in a supportive environment that champions your professional growth. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll work with NDIS participants of all ages, delivering services across community, clinic, and telehealth settings—supported by a collaborative Multi-Disciplinary Team. Based in Townsville, you’ll also enjoy the flexibility to work in-home, in-clinic, and out in the community.

This role is all about improving quality of life—for individuals and those around them. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with participants, families, and support networks to foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes and inform tailored interventions.
  • Develop Individualised Support Plans: Create and implement Behaviour Support Plans that are evidence-based and aligned with NDIS guidelines.
  • Provide Education and Training: Equip carers and support teams with the knowledge and skills to implement strategies effectively and sustainably.
  • Promote Positive Behaviour: Focus on reducing restrictive practices and enhancing participants' quality of life through proactive support.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Collect and analyse data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.

If you're passionate about making a difference and want to grow in a role with real purpose—we’d love to hear from you.
