You’ll be joining a builder that genuinely looks after its people. The General Manager comes from a commercial background, is a family man, and brings a good sense of humour to the office.

The Hawthorn office is a relaxed, collaborative space where egos are parked at the door and people work together to get the job done. It’s a place where you’ll know the people you work with, where regular team catchups actually happen, and where leadership is accessible whenever you need them.

You’ll report to senior estimators and work closely with the bid team, subcontractors, and suppliers to prepare accurate, competitive estimates. You’ll work across lump sum, D&C, and ECI tenders using CostX and get involved in take-offs, pricing, site visits, risk reviews, and building strong subcontractor relationships.

The salary range on offer for this role is $110-140k plus super.

Projects range from $1 million to $25 million, and most clients come back because this builder quietly delivers what it promises. They’re fair, capable, and have built long-term partnerships across the education, government, and commercial sectors.

You’ll need estimating experience in the Victorian commercial construction space and be comfortable working across multiple tenders. CostX experience is sought after, and you’ll need to work well with subcontractors and internal teams.
