About the role

This contract role as a Loanwriter/Mortgage Broker with FHBA offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team. You can be based anywhere in Australia (working remotely from the comfort of your home); you will be responsible for submitting applications for first home buyers along with many investors and with a significant amount of refinance applications.

We are looking for a candidate who is driven and willing to start immediately.

What you'll be doing

Preparing loan applications and liaising with lenders to secure financing for clients already converted and ready to proceed

Providing end-to-end support to clients throughout the loan application and approval process

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to offer expert advice and guidance

Ensuring all activities comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience as a Loanwriter or Mortgage Broker in the banking and financial services industry

Already be established and have a current membership with a Mortgage Broking Aggregator and have the capacity to handle up to 20 new applications per month

Strong understanding of the mortgage and lending landscape, including product features, eligibility criteria, and application processes

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to guide customers remotely

Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and industry stakeholders

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using relevant software and digital tools to support the loan application process
