About the Role
TAFE Gippsland is seeking a suitability qualified and experienced Early Childhood professional to join the TAFE Gippsland Early Childhood teaching team, to deliver the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care. The primary responsibility of this role involves providing supporting trainees predominately in the workplace, delivering high quality training and assessment, creating educational resources, and handling administrative tasks associated with course delivery. The role is 4 days per week with preferred days of work being Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (4th day is negotiable).
At TAFE Gippsland the role of the Teacher is to
Share knowledge and experience in your specialist area;
Manage the learning process to enable students to achieve their best;
Develop and deliver relevant and industry current course material;
Ensure that their own professional teaching and vocational competence and currency is kept up to date along with licensing requirements
Mandatory Requirements
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent (mandatory)
Relevant vocational qualification to the level of teaching/assessing
Extensive relevant industry experience
Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
Current Police check (not older than 12 months)
Driver’s License
