About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at Chapter 1 Early Learning in Montmorency, VIC. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that nurture children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences

Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider community

Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve the quality of our service

Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Current registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in Victoria

Demonstrated experience in an early childhood teaching role, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
