Ikkairo Ramen Underwood – Assistant Manager Recruitment

Responsibilities:

- Assist shop operations (Business hours: Mon-Sun, 11:00-14:30 & 17:00-20:00)

- Oversee all kitchen operations (cooking, quality control, hygiene compliance)

- Manage ingredient ordering and purchasing from local suppliers

- Train and supervise staff

- Enforce food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)

Working Hours:

- Standard Staff Shifts: 10:00-14:30 & 16:30-20:30

- Weekly shift-based

Required Skills/Experience:

- ✅ Kitchen operations experience (ramen shop experience preferred)

- ✅ Inventory management & ordering skills

- ✅ Food safety compliance expertise (ability to train staff)

- ✅ Leadership & accountability (staff training/team coordination)

- ⭐ Japanese language skills (most staff are Japanese working holiday makers; conversational level+)

Employment Terms:

1. Trial Period (First 3 months):

- Casual employment (under Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)

- Hospitality Industry (Restaurant) Award Level 5

- Hourly wage (casual rates per Award standards)

2. Post-Trial Period:

- Transition to part-time or full-time employment

- Award-based salary matching role/experience

- Exact wage negotiable based on qualifications
