We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to take ownership of billing and collections across our Australian customer base. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow, ensuring accurate receivables, and building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
You’ll be part of a supportive finance team that plays an important role in business decisions and helps maintain compliance, governance, and ongoing improvements.

What your days will look like:
- Champion our aged debt strategy — chasing down overdue payments with tact and professionalism.
- Keep customer relationships strong by following up on outstanding balances and queries with care and efficiency.
- Be the go-to for our accounts inbox, fielding customer questions and capturing accurate information in our systems.
- Manage end-to-end receivables — from receipting payments to issuing credit notes when needed.
- Support billing cycles with consolidated monthly billing spreadsheets for key accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (like Sales and Support) to ensure we’re aligned and delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Dig into disputes, troubleshoot issues, and proactively manage risks around bad debt.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across finance systems, controls, and processes.

Relationship management requires a strong understanding of the roles your stakeholders are playing, and the ability to ensure they commit to the processes we are jointly working through.
Analytical Problem Solver: You will face bumps in the road every day, situations we have not faced before. You will need to be comfortable working with colleagues to find options and be able to facilitate across teams to agree solutions
Requirements
What you need to know and what will make you successful!
Essential:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a polite, tactful, and firm manner.
- Confidence, professionalism, and perseverance.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
- Confident, approachable, and professional manner.
- Resilience and drive to deliver brilliant service.
- Questioning approach and use of own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage their own workload, prioritise and work well under pressure.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in NetSuite.

- Suitable Employment Check (Background, Credit, Work Eligibility).
