Join our Albany Service Support team where you will ensure clients can access our services in the area in ways that are person centred, safe, and responsive. You will be the first point of contact for many clients and will help refer them to services within Anglicare WA where appropriate. You will also provide support to ensure the smooth running of the office providing administrative support, accurately entering data and maintaining electronic client files. Work alongside passionate and dedicated professionals in a client centred environment where you can make an impact.
This is a casual position until a permanent role becomes available. The successful candidate will be required to work across 5 days for the first 3 weeks (some flexibility can be discussed) and up to 17 hours (2 and a half days a week) after that. This role is based at our Albany office at St Johns Anglicare Centre.
What you will bring
You are a passionate and talented individual who wants to be part of a team who delivers quality services to our clients. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant experience in a similar role or Cert IV qualification in community services
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance
- Ability to respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable de-escalating people who are upset
- Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system)
- Financial management skills including ability to issue invoices and receipt money
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year.
